Board Valuation Expert

Scope

Attend board meetings, understanding of the valuation documentation and suggestions and recommendations as advice to the board of Directors.

Purpose

1. To help board of Directors make their valuation decisions in line with the valuation rules applicable in the specific jurisdiction and International Valuation Standards.
2. To monitor their valuation footprint.
3. Reduce the impact of year-end adjustments.
4. The board of directors can also demonstrate that it has the assistance of an independent expert to fulfil the qualification skills in line with substance requirements.
